1/20/2018 January meeting recap – Mini_VNA
On January 9th Bryan Burns (WA5VAH) gave a great presentation on the Mini-VNA – a low cost mini Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). The mini-VNA Tiny, is a handheld PC based Vector Network Analyzer that makes available a multitude of features and capabilities which are perfect for checking antennas and RF circuits for hams and commercial users from 1 MHz to 3 GHz.
This is a very useful tool for measurements of antenna, transmission lines, filters and many other RF tasks. Bryan’s presentation is excellent and provides for some hands-on examples.
Bryan was kind enough to provide us with a copy of his slides with this release: ” You may use this presentation as you see fit so long as you use it in its entirety”
Bryan’s slides can be found here.
